Fusion Optix Acquires Konarka Technologies Assets and Expands In-House Production Capabilities
Woburn, MA – March 16, 2013 – Fusion Optix, Inc. (www.fusionoptix.com) announced today that it has completed the acquisition of roll-to-roll (R2R) pilot production equipment and other assets formerly part of organic solar film manufacturer Konarka Technologies, Inc. The acquisitions in combination with other equipment soon to be installed at its Woburn MA headquarters mark a significant increase in the company’s investment in in-house production capabilities. In order to house the new additions the company has also added 10,000 square feet of manufacturing space.
