Fusion Optix teamed up with local corporations to contribute to the green movement by participating in the JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge road race. Now in its 32nd year, the race series spans 12 cities in 6 countries. The message this year is heavily focused on reducing our carbon footprint and with 250,000 participants worldwide, the race is sure to have an impact. In an article released earlier this year, the race organizers’ plan was revealed: “Each 2008 Corporate Challenge will have a variety of tactics designed to lessen the consumption of energy and paper resources – from the printing of finisher t-shirts, to the sourcing of environmentally-friendly vendors, to providing shuttle transportation options, to a goal of 100-percent online registration and on-site recycling.” Fusion Optix wholeheartedly showed its support by entering the entire company in the race and taking public transportation to the event.
